Oxford Wedding
Oxford is one of the world’s greatest universities, and its buildings reflect great wealth poured into the city by benefactors supporting different colleges. It is also a town with a proud manufacturing history, not least of cars. Its position between London and some of the great cities of the Midlands and the North meant that it was also a place where people stopped for the night on their travels, and there are still many grand hotels and public houses with long histories as coaching inns.
