Shrewsbury Wedding
Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire, and the centre stands on a hill inside a loop of the beautiful River Severn which has shaped its past greatly. It still has much of the medieval street plan and hundreds of listed buildings that catch the eye wherever one walks. As it is close to the Welsh border, it acts as a commercial centre for mid-Wales. It was also the birthplace of Charles Darwin and is where he spent many years of his life – a fact used to market several local venues. If you get married here you have a wonderful choice of backdrops for your wedding photography.
This venue is a centrally located, mid-sized hotel housed in a Grade I listed 16th century coaching inn. They have a number of standard packages but are happy to discuss your special needs. They say they can host up to 200 guests, as well as provide for smaller parties of 30 or less. They can also hold your civil ceremony.
